BOOK REVIEW – Consuming Fire

As much as I enjoy Historical Fiction, I’m not sure how I’ve never discovered Robyn Langdon before! From the first moment, this book had me hooked. I read most of it on the first day. Biblical Fiction is my favorite fiction genre, and having studied scripture for more than 30 years, I’m a bit fanatic about accuracy. But not once did I pick up my Bible to double check Mrs. Langdon’s facts. Not only was her story intriguing, it stayed true to scripture, adding only the most believable fictional extras. I’m not a romance novel fan; however, I loved the romantic injections. Just enough intrigue to make this a potential hit with romance readers too. Great job, Robyn! Thanks for giving me some extra things to consider about King Josiah’s life!
